Don Smith
Don Smith is a retired Laser / Laser process engineer. A licensed and ordained pastor, Don has provided volunteer clergyman services in various churches for over 3 decades.
He has participated in Prison Sports Ministries for 23 years as Ministry Coordinator.
Don loves time with his grandson Oliver, he plays basketball, enjoys hiking with his dogs and doing ministry related activities with Annie Smith, his wife of 40 years. The Smiths have two adult children, both are married to wonderful spouses.
Jeff Ratcliff
Jeff Ratcliff is a Senior Account Executive for a National Wholesale Residential Home Mortgage Lender in Northern California.
He has participated in the San Quentin Softball program since 2009. Over the years he has witnessed many lives transformed by the power of the gospel. He joined the board with the vision of transforming many more lives by expanding this sports ministry to other prisons in California and beyond.
Jeff enjoys watching and playing sports (especially playing golf and softball). Jeff and his wife Jerilynn have been married for 32 years, have three adult daughters, one son-in-law and two grandchildren.
Bryce Warwick
Bryce Warwick is a graduate test prep tutor from San Jose, CA. He became involved with the softball program at San Quentin in 2018. He immediately saw the power of the relationships being built at the prison. God put on his heart a desire to see sports programs preaching the gospel spread to all over the state and beyond. He joined the board of Prison Sports Ministries in order to help further that vision.
Bryce has a B.A. in political science from UC San Diego and a J.D. from George Washington University Law School. He also serves on the board of the North Valley Churches Athletic Association which organizes volleyball and softball leagues for local churches. His hobbies include playing and watching sports, trivia, and reading. He once appeared on an episode of Sports Jeopardy. He and his wife Karen have two sons.
Dave Dearinger
Dave Dearinger serves in full-time ministry as the Executive Pastor of Hillside Church in San Jose, CA. Prior to his transition to vocational ministry, Dave spent his career in software start-up companies designing the customer lifecycle through customer success, support, and account management leadership roles. He holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from San Jose State University and a Masters in Theological Studies with a concentration in leadership from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
As one who enjoys virtually anything sports related (especially Hockey), joining the board at Prison Sports Ministries was a natural fit as he encourages those around him to use their passions as a method of sharing the gospel message with those around them. Dave and his wife Liz have been married since 2006 and have 3 children.
Dave Wright
David Wright is an independent marketing consultant, helping small and medium technology firms define and reach their own marketing goals by growing and managing important relationships and programs. Through his decades-long friendship with Prison Sports Ministries founder Don Smith, Dave has been privileged to watch PSM grow and flourish. Dave & Nancy have been married for 35 years and are delighted about their two sons, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters. Dave has served as an elder at Evergreen Valley Church in San Jose since 2014.
