We believe humans are created in God’s image, but that we are inherently sinful and this sin separates us from God. (Genesis 1:26-27, Isaiah 59:2, Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:8)
We believe that Jesus Christ came to Earth fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and was crucified. Three days later he arose from the dead to demonstrate his power over sin and death. He is now in Heaven but will one day return in power and glory. (Colossians 2:9, John 1:1-5, Matthew 1:18-25, John 19-20, Acts 1:9-11)
We believe Jesus offers the only path to redemption. (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Titus 3:5)
We believe that God calls all the diverse people of his Church to love each other and live together in unity. (John 13:34, 1 John 3:18, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Philippians 2:1-4, Psalm 133:1)
